Looking ahead to the 2016 elections, as a millennial, what is the most important quality or position you look for in a candidate?

As a millennial, I find the most important quality I am seeking in a candidate is a strong, God-fearing, Constitutionally-sound voice for the executive office. Being a very Constitutionally minded person myself, I want a candidate who has a stricter, foundational view of the Constitution. Recent presidents, even before they held office, have not demonstrated a love of the Constitution. I feel that a candidate that loves and respects the Constitution will lead the U.S. back to a position of power in the world because we would be returning to the principles that make America great. The candidate I will ultimately back in 2016 will have to prove to me that they support and love the fundamentals of the Constitution and will actually uphold the oath of office, which states that the president will to the best of his ability “preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States”, as stated in Article II, section 1. While a candidate’s stance on issues is important to me, I find that I crave a president who loves our nation and its Constitution, while seeking God’s wisdom in his decisions.

Someone who is strong in Foreign Policy, strong Biblical morals, and is willing to stand up to the craziness that has enveloped Washington.
